Hi,
I have a 1999 V8 and the belt tensioner broke off today with part of the mounting bracket still attached to the centre bolt. Is this a common problem or since the tensioner had been replaced under warranty (Now timed out) has the mechanic (fitter or apprentice) never heard of a torque wrench. Any advice would be handy before I cause mayhem at the garage.
