Here is a series of pictures on how to remove the KV6 Engine acoustic cover on the NAS (USA/Canada version) of the V6 Freelander.
I know this is in the RAVE manual, but I like pictures, so maybe this will be useful to others.
1. Un-tighten the hose clip and then remove the left air hose
2. Remove the MAF sensor cable connection by pressing on the clip highlighted in yellow and then pulling on the connector
3. Un-tighten the hose clip and then separate the right air hose
4. Un-tighten both thumscrews
5. Release back strap (no pictures)
6. Remove cover raising the back first (no pictures)
