The Tailgate window lifting wires that run from the window lift/lower motor snapped a while back, I got one of the repair kits from an auction site and fitted it. All seemed well but the (new) main lifting wires snapped again...

Not keen to try another repair kit, tbh it was a bear of a job.

Would you get one of the new (I assume Chinese) total assemblies (Motor, wires, lifting frames) or opt for a used original assembly ?

Anyone 'been there' and can comment?
