any ideas why? in the process of changing the airbags over - passenger side went fine - undid one union clip on compressor unit and deflated instantly. However drivers side will not deflate - any ideas

tek the pipe out the bag or stick a knife in it

you got the wrong union. the middle one is the compressor feed
