On my old 300tdi Disco I had a set of Maxxis AT's 205 R 16 that where pretty good off the road and gave good grip on the road and only 2mm had worn off after 10k miles. The wifes 300tdi has Hankook AT's 205R 16 fitted and are very good on the road but soon "clag" up on mud ( I store my Rally cars and toys in a barn that requires travelling up a fairly steep muddy field to get to)and lose traction. My current 200tdi is fitted with BFGoodrich AT KO 225/75 x 16 these are excellent on the muddy field and give good grip on the road, but they have made the steering heavier and are very "tramliney" and show up a small amount of kickback I have in the steering whereas the 205's didn't. Also had to adjust the lockstops as the wider tyres caught on full lock. Barry
