Any ideas on tyre pressures for 205 r 16 tyres?? Haynes recomends 28 psi front and 38 psi rear for normal road use. Dont sound right to me though.

yes thats right but i always stick 35 in the fronts and 40 in the rears

I got 30psi all round but I have a Freelander. It's very nice

Mechanic let my tyres down to 34psi all round last week. They bulged a lot at the side so I upped them to 38 frt and 40 rear again. A tiny little bit rougher ride but better mpg.
I assume it will alter the braking slightly, but the only things we have to brake heavy for out here are the abo's and roos..lol

Actually it's Aboridgidknee so called 'cos of the terrible arthuritus they got in there legs due to a diet of windcheetah grubs.

But that was back in the days before the British came along and improved things by ****ing ****ing their world up.
