I have an early 110 with the two piece speedo cable, which is knackered, and they are hard to find. Can I replace it with the later one-piece item PRC6022? Not sure if this will fit or if there is any difference in the fittings at each end.

You need to see what end connector you have on your speedo , to see if its compatible, length wise
there shouldn't be any difference . There were the screw on thumb nut type and clip on type.
It might even be cheaper to fit the later type speedo , as the early type was used on the stage 1 V8 as well as the early 90/110
