I recently advertised a FOC Defender grille and two headlight surrounds as I had replaced with new - I stated that if anybody wanted them they could have them free of charge as long as they paid for postage. Someone has responded and I'm trying to find the chap's email address which he PM'd me as he wanted photo's sent. I've clicked on everything that I can find but cannot get to the sent PM. Would appreciate some guidance please.
Should be in your conversations next to your name at top R/H of screen hover over the letter symbol.
was that on the old LZ before the change to this new format?

I got a few hundred That I saved with some names and info( some very important ones) that seem to have disappeared into the wind never to be found again. I am not happy about that

Conversations are only searchable by user name by going to 'show conversations' and near the bottom of the page there's a display options which brings up a user name search box.
If anyone has lost any truly important info that they had saved it might be worth PMing accyroy (probably best not to slag off all the work he put in first) and asking if it's recoverable.
Don't be surprised if it's not though. The old format was bulging at the seams and saving stuff in strange places which is why the transfer was so complicated.

would it be possible for the search functionality to get extended so that we could search for text with the message body?
I saved my (important to me) PM's and those that were trash were deleted when received, and some never read just deleted because of who sent them.Stalking info doesn't count BTW Thor
Just select show all and go through them.

No idea. I've found stuff before by searching for posts that related to a PM and then using the date to hunt the PM down.

Should be a bit simpler with this system as a series of PMs is stored as a single conversation instead of every PM being stored individually......I was going through 2000 about every 12 months.....try finding anything in that lot
