i usually jack my 110 up in the usual places just inside the wheels but with a big trolley jack this then prevents use of axle stands.

is there any reason why i cannot jack up under the diff, both front and rear, obviously raising both front or rear wheels and then sliding in axle stands just inside the wheels.

what do most people do when using a trolley jack?

jacking under the diff wnt lift it evenly, but you can pick up the entire axle by the casing just by the diff, and then get stands under it. Have done that a few times.
