Hi

This RED transmission light has come on and is staying on, I have checked the transmission fluid levels and they are ok. Is there anything else I need to check?

Where can I locate this temperature switch on the transmission or gearbox? Does any one know the part number I need? Alternatively, where I can purchase it?

I take it your disco is auto?

If so, you need a new temp sender, its located on the oil cooler under the radiator.

many thanks for this info, yes i have an auto and for sure i would not have found this sender with out help................yes its good to talk
