Just looking through RAVE with regards to replacing the transfer box and it looks like a seriously massive job.
Is it really necessary to follow all the elements mentioned in RAVE or can it be somewhat simplified?

According to RAVE, you gotta strip inside the car, take the fan cowling off and all sorts...!

Actually, I better get some DexIII too! It's going in tomorrow at 8!

only on the manual gearbox as far as i know

+1, only to remove the gear stick. Trying to remember, remove centre exhaust box, both props undone from t/box and tied clear, hand brake assembly removed leaving cable attached and tied clear, wiring loom and breather detached then six bolts which attaches it to the gearbox. I've probably forgotten something but that's the basics.
