OK see what you get after changing motor.
That i cannot answer. Personally i would sort it first. But your call.

take the motor off, make sure the t/box is fully in high. Refit the motor to keep it in high and disconnect the motor's electrical connection. Then you should be ok to get to the garage. Did the motor work before? If it did I would be looking at the wiring as Wammers said.
Something is upsetting the gearbox ECU, either bad comms with the motor via the position switches in it, to transfer box ECU which would upset the gearbox ECU. Or a bad connection caused by the box being lowered to change the transfer box pulling on the loom and dislodging something like the CO673 plug. Which would give you your intermittent Hi/Low on Nanocom. If you have reset the gearbox adaptive values it will take time to settle down anyway.

Yes replied. Along with latest ECU number. AMR6459. But it is no longer available new. Not at Rimmers anyway.

Just back from the garage.
Plugged in the original motor and checked it moved first, which it did. That was then installed and the old one binned - everything back to normal now.
Changes over smoothly, no annoying warnings or dings and my indicator noises work again! A good morning indeed.
Of course, discovered a few other bits needing addressing while i was under it but isn't that always the case!
Anyway, thanks everyone for your help
