I've just purchased 2 track rod ends but now after reading up, seen that there's a drag link one end and track rod the other. Is that right? I haven't looked, all I know is the near side tyre is worn on the outer edge and steering is sh!t
I got almost a grinding noise when steering aswell
What do we know??

the pasenger side hub has 2 steering ball joints conected to it.
one on the end of the drag link
the other ,one end of the track ro

Nice thought, but even being fairly mechanically literate that has to be one of the least illuminating illustrations I've ever seen compared to what you actually find under a Defender.....!! A

Ahh I see
Hopefully my track rod or drag link aren't bent by the previous bender

u need to get it laser alligned and dont spend unless all your steering and suspension components are 100% else your wasting your money,problem with n/s toe-in at the very least.
