Hi guys, I made the mistake of trading in my P38 for an Audi Q7. Have now rectified this monstrous error and got myself a 2006 L322 Vogue 3.0TDI. I have just fitted a tow bar to it. This is a proper Westfalia detachable one and has the proper Range Rover electrics. However on installing it all, my parking sensors, front and rear, have stopped working, I'm presuming I need to get the car programmed, is this the case? Anybody able to do this in Northern Ireland?

Hope someone can help

That shouldn't effect the parking sensors

Make sure you haven't accidentally loosened a plug at the back rear right panel as the reversing sensors ECU lives there behind the fuse box

Thanks Hippo, I've just checked that and every plug is securely in place. Checked fuse F6 in the passenger compartment fuse box and it is healthy. I have tried disconnecting the trailer socket wiring and that makes no difference either. Both front & rear PDC sensors were all working fine before the install and the only wiring I disconnected was the rear bumper PDC plug wiring. I made sure that was securely reconnected, before putting the rear bumper in place.
Currently at a loss of where to check next?

Found the problem, it's a broken wire to one of the sensors on the rear bumper, must have nipped during the install...DOH!

Well done for finding it

Pain in the arse lol

One fault and the whole PDC locks out !

Oh and the wires to the sensors on the back bumper are renowned for breaking / rubbing on the bumper and causing problems
