how did you manage that? did you take out some advertising space in the mag or something?

Nope. I put it forward for the modified vehicle section of the inddor show. It didn't get picked as I guess they didn't have enough overland vehicles to run the category (only mine and a unimog entered) so they emailed me and said they want to run a 4 page feature on it.

we will see what happens.

Yes, I was serious, never heard of them, figured they were a magazine ... but I haven't bought a LR mag for years .. too much collateral damage with them ..

Nice going, hope they do a good spread on you and the Landy ..

hahaha! I dont buy any mags either, I have a sub to the Overland Journal and thats it.

I am getting a free sub from TOR though so thats something.

The D90 will be in the August issue of TOR out on the 16th July. some of my more familiar Morocco/Alps photo's should feature in it I hope. Dont think I make the cover, but fingers crossed!

the caption in this months TOR was 'short in wheelbase, long on adventure' neat.

Only ever had one of my cars in a mag, and that was a pitiful quarter page!

If you look in this months issue, on the 'next issue' page you will see a cool looking baby blue old school suzuki and mine is underneath. In the pic of the zuk its rear wheels are cocked up about 2ft. It was on the same shoot as me and he only lives about 5 miles away!

anyway, his track was to narrow for the ruts, hence why he got stuck... I had to winch him back out The photo of mine is in the same place, except I went up the bank a bit, but my 33s make it look tame! The photographer said he was finding it difficult to make it look 'extreme' because it just rolled over everything hahahaha!
