Has anyone had any dealings with one and are they any good? Would I put it in the front or rear axle.

Its part number is FTC -0114 but there's very little on the net about them.

I got offered it by a friend whose had it in his shed for years. Its never been fitted and is brand new.

Were they an optional extra?

It is a 24 spline version but I'm only running 10 spline axles at the moment and wonder whether its worth the hassle of fitting.

After the original posting I did some more digging but left out the LR part number on my searches.
It appears that Ashcroft make a similar unit now for £300 and then I read an article on them on another forum which seemed to rate them in high regard.

There's not much on the net about LR's own which I appear to have.
I guess it might be a bit of a rarity.

Look for a disco one but bear in mind you'll need to replace the radius arms as well as they differ from 10 spline ones
