A little confused.
Whilst driving my Td5 auto I've noticed I'm getting a thud from the back end each time I go over a pot hole or slightly uneven road.

I've looked underneath and cant see anything untoward. I've recently got rid of the ACE system and fitted standard anti roll bars and also replaced the rear shocks. Air suspension on the rear seems ok. But this thud is annoying me now.

Anyone got any ideas what to check next?????

Replaced drop link arms when I fitted new anti roll bar.....

This may sound stupid, but it hasn't got an A frame, as it's got a watts link, ive had that checked and was told there was no play.

It's quite a heavy knock.

easiest way of checking is to lay underneather it and feel the various parts whilst someone vigorously rocks vehicle

Give your shock bolts another tweak, quite common to feel that they are on tight enough but leave some play for the bushes to thud about.

Check the body mounts and also that the rear bumper isn't loose, makes a surprising amount of noise!
