haven't been on here in quite a while! Sold my 90 project and went back to bikes. Got a family friend who is selling a Freelander TD4 and I'm tempted... I've always been told that Freelanders don't cope very well off road though compared to its brothers? For how much I actually got my 90 muddy, I just want something cheap to run that I can chuck the dog in the back and go laning every once in a while! Would the freelander be ok? Any common issues on the TD4 i need to look out for?

You may already know about the fuel tank cradle. I'm in the process of painting a new one before replacing mine. They're expensive for what the actually are.
