Well, The good old Freelander was put through its paces this morning and I was very pleasantly surprised!
Did some greenlaning with some 1-2ft floodwater,steep gradients and lots n lots of MUD......
I followed my pal in his td5 expecting to have to be dragged out at some point but the thing pulled through beautifully even a couple of twisters....
I was very impressed with the performance of my vehicle It has definately been worth while keeping everything in perfect order for these occasional outing's, it certainly put a big smile on my face :)
Will stick some pictures in the gallery.
All thats left is to drag the karcher out and wash the chunk of cheshire off thats stuck to it!

Forgot to mention I put a new vcu on from Bell engineering 500mls ago It has proved to be perfect. Thanks Bell Engineering!

Fook me someone else enjoying their Freelander! What's got into everyone lately? Where are all the head gasket failures and blocked EGR's?

This is madness :D!

There all booked in at my work..... I've got 2 to do next week!
Oh and guess what some one's tailgate glass has stopped working to, Hmmm wonder what that could be ;)

Dunc why not start a "Freelander Green Lane Photos" thread, hopefully we can make it a sticky and show everyone how much fun we have :)!

The "what have you done today" thread is still going string :).

Done. Thought this thread was just for repairs and mods.

I donated to the site which gives you some special privileges such as a custom title :). Given my battles with the woeful K series cooling system I thought it fitted :D.
 
Thank's guy's just need a good dusting of snow now that would definately make for some fun off roading and good piccy's :D
