I have always bee working on the older discos and I have now bought the wife a 51 plate td5. I noticed its got the crappy rubber doughnut on the rear diff. Can I just get a 300tdi rear prop and diff flange to get rid of the rubber doughnut

If you want to replace the rubber doughnut style diff connection you'll need a TDi 200 propshaft and diff flange.

But honestly if you buy quality doughnuts such as GKN and install them correctly, you won't have any problems with it at all.
