went to move the disco tonight after it's sat on the drive for a week and spotted a nice patch of oil under the engine. Had a quick look from below and it appears to be coming from around the alternator.

Where would it be coming from? does the alternator have an oil feed?

yes there is an oil feed to the alternator. Look at the front near the pulley and you should see a couple of pipes.

oh!

any parts needed to fix or is it a case of tightening pipes etc?
