My 99 td5 fuel pump is making a noise when i switch the ignition on and when im running, it's a bussing sound.
Is this my fuel pump?, if so, how easy is it to replace?.

they buzz anyway... or has it started to make a new noise?

Ya i know they buss, but you can clearly hear it when driving, it's loader than normal, well i think it's now packed up, the disco wont even start now , anyone know if replacing a pump is a hard or easy job to do?

removing interior for access is worst part. under mat screw panel. unclip pipes undoe lockring and juggle pump out. main problem for noisy pump is blocked filters 3 in all. your,es has stopped might be too late make sure elecy feeds r o/k

apart from the obvious could you tell me where the othe two filters are??? my fuel pump is dead.
