I have a 1999 TD5 disco which I have had for 4 years, on friday we drove to new forest with caravan and parked up. turn engine off, and then needed to start it again a few minutes later to move van. She would not start and when you turned key to position II the glow plug light did not come on and the red light on the temp gauge stayed on, also when ignition switched off the engine management relay kept clicking. Called out AA who spent 1.5hours playing with no success, left disco over night and unlocked it on sat morning and tried to start her and she started first time as normal. Could this be an immobilser issue, has anybody got any ideas as why this would happen? All fluid levels are correct.
