td5 defender anybody advise me how to get the tensioner pulley off do you have to take thcomplete bracket off including alternator, or is it just the bolt through the middle of the pulley.

just the bolt through the middle, if i remember right its a 15mm multi point socket

cheers john lad thats the way i was heading, but it seems very tight & i didnt want to snap it.

got it off clockwise direction duh!! sure enough bearing was shot, new one on all good again , thanks for your reply.
