Hi all,

Ok this is my first post. I currently have a 2001 TD5 Defender Pick up with canopy which i use as my work horse. My rear floor under the seats is getting a bit thin in places to say the least......i can see the ground through some of it! I would ideally like to get round to completely overhauling this defender as we are very attached :) However due to me being completely flat out busy building a new house this wont happen any time soon.

My question is what is the best way of doing a repair on this? Can you purchase these floor panels for fitting under the seat? I have thought of even just fitting chequer plate over the top of it to hide it in the meantime!

Your thoughts?...................

thanks for replies.... the car has just passed a years MOT :) Dont like the sound of " not having long" Moorland Bob :(

cheers hamsterberg will look at YRM and see what i can order, is it just riveted in do you know?

Thanks again
