Well. That's that. With the cost of fuel going high above anything and tax galore someone told me that a remap may be a good idea.
So does anyone know about it?
I have a TD4 auto box that does about 25mpg. on a 53 plate (no warrantee)
I know roverron has a magic box but I think that something a bit more substantial will be better. Plus I already have a Mafamp on it.
It is a last ditch attempt to justify keeping the old hippo. For some daft reason I still think she is great. (even though the dog bowl at the back now never seems to get empty of water) I reckon a 10% increase in miles per gallon will mean I can cover a 400 pound cost of remapping in 12 months (at 1.30/gallon) any better than that and its happy days any worse and it could be the one way trip to the flaming fields of burndom.
So what do you all think?
