Hi,
Don't worry, not another regulator/glass issue!
Instead I got driven into the back of (ironically by an Army LR) and the tailgate on my 5dr 02 plate Freelander has been buckled as well as the rear window smashed and regulator bent. All it needs is a new tailgate so my plan is to get one from a breakers yard and swap it over. To that end and in order to give me the best chance of getting one in the right colour at a decent price I would be really grateful if anyone could help with the questions below. I've googled pretty extensively but struggled to find any definitive answers.
1. Is the tailgate the same for the 3dr and the 5dr? Visually it looks pretty identical.
2. I believe the post face lift tailgate will also fit - noting it has slightly different exterior trim. Is this right and if so is the outside door handle a straight swap over?
3. On the off chance, anyone know any Zambezi Silver (paint code 737) being broken in and around Hampshire.
Thanks in advance,
Charlie
PS First post, but used the forum extensively so thanks everyone for all the help so far.
