Well, as mentioned in my other threads swambo spotted an old 88 tother day when we went to a friends 40th. It was his old motor that had been abandoned at his Scout hut after some serious tin worm around the fuel tank outrigger
Anyway, Stutab helped me to collect it today. The engine actually runs quite sweetly but it will require a new chassis.
In situ first spotted:
As we decided late last night rather late to go and get it in the morning it was too late to organise a trailer, so I just popped an on Tow sign in the back and Stu "Drove" it behind me.
We did get a look from a passing policeman but I think he realised it was no problem for a 110 with a proper 1" rope, who continued on his way.
Until the house is rebuilt the garage height is a problem, the 80" only just fits in with the 205s so in order to get it into the garage we had to go topless.
As you can see its a bit Heath Robinson at the moment
