Hi All,

I have a 1998 Discovery 3.9ltr V8 Automatic which has a leaky sunroof.

The old seal seems to have streched and is misshaped, so I have ordered a new one off ebay, paid about £22.00.

What I want to know is how do I get the old seal off completley.

Is there a way I can take the sunrood off alltogether whilst I change the seal?

If it's the glass to frame seal then just pull out the existing seal making a note how it's located in the frame and with the new seal fit starting at a corner the seem in the rubber is at the rear just like the original.
When I replaced one of mine I undid the four glass bolts and removed the glass. but it's up to you how you do it.

So its just four bolts that hold it in. Nice one, I will get that done on Saturday.
