As mentioned last week I've just had one of the subwoofers replaced. With a unit that was stated to be working on removal. The Golden Girl and ai are several hours from the garage so no simple solution to the issue I now find. Namely, no sound from either subwoofer 😔
Would anyone know if there is possibly a simple cause/solution. I am restricted as I can't climb around in the boot and pull panels .
Any ideas/help much appreciated 😁👍

Your Sincerely
A broken hearted blast the music out loud lover

What do you mean by no sound? I think the subwoofer is just rubbish. I believe mine is working I've had eyes on it and can see the speaker isn't damaged and moves in and out when music is playing, but sat in the driver's seat and adjusting the subwoofer level from min to max, there's no audible difference

Maybe a different set up, but my subwoofer , even with one speaker blown could have blasted you into outer space. However now there is no sound from either of them. It's a giant of a thing so sound can definitely be heard when working. The boot is a safe place for your eardrums. Which was not the case previously. 🤷‍♀️

P.s forgot to answer. no sound means exactly that. Neither subwoofer (100W RMS each) are producing sound.

You need a "live in mechanic" lodger 🤔😜

Four possibilities: No power, no audio feed, blown amp, or blown speakers.

Scrappers always say either "working when removed", or "tested & working". Personally I don't believe either on electrical parts!!
Thanks. I just find it curious that neither speaker is now working, when only one was changed..

H you have the early one, mine is the stupid oval type
I've had a search around and apparently yours delivers slightly less than the old style, at 80RMS. I'm not techy enough to work out what that is W peak but 20% less would seem logical. Hence strolling down the road rather than bouncing 😁
