A question for anyone who knows about Stromberg Carbs. Have just overhauled my carbs myself. Starts beautifully but if I accelerate it just splutters and puffs. I have wound in botton adjustment and fully in it does nothing on acceleration, fully out nearly revs to full revs, just seem to want to go abit more. If I loosen any more fuel starts to drip out. Is there any other adjustment? Should I /can I adjust how much the needle protrudes? It just seems the bottom mixture adjustment wants to be wound out some more but it can't really be.

Thoughts?

Did you change the diaphragms ? - it won't tune properly even if one has the tiniest hole in it
