Hi
I am afraid that I am not very technical but need some advice.
My 2003 Discovery 2 has developed a new noise while on the go. When driving and I take my foot off the accelerator I hear a noise that sounds like a pump or fan running. When I bring the vehicle to a complete stand still with engine running I still hear the noise. The sound appears to be coming from the electromagnetic valves when I apply some pressure to the block the noise tone changes.
As I said I am not very technical, if anyone has any advice on what would make the ACE system buzz under the drivers seat then please can you let me know what the issue may be and is the vehicle safe to drive.
