Hi, after being clever (clearly not) and fitting a 3.5mm aux jack lead to my clarion HK system (1997 HSE) Ive lost the amplified sound from the o/s speakers. I soldered the 3 wires into the correct (I think) terminals inside the radio and the aux cable works but now I only get a low volume from the o/s speakers front and rear, n/s ones are fine. I would guess Ive buggered up something in the head unit as it worked fine before but does anyone have any other clues?? The head unit doesnt light up and the display is poor (been like it for years) so I was going to send it to clarion to be fixed anyway, so not a problem if it is that, but if its not any ideas what else I could look for or try first? I dont know anyone else with the same system to try their head unit.
