Hi Guys

I'm considering buying some steps for my Sport Prem, I'm on a budget some don't want to spend £250+.

I've seen these:

Land Rover Freelander 1 Black Side Steps / Running Boards - Pair

They look like a good price, any thoughts on the product / retailer appreciated.

Prefer bars myself, the ones which bend under the car rather than the straight ones.

Do those ones screw to the front mud flap? Can't tell from the pic.
If so, when you take a side impact the brackets bend slightly and the screw gets ripped out.
A pain to re-attach when it doesn't line up quite right, unless you take them off and straighten them out.
(at least mine were)

everybody has a different view I rather have the bit wider ones that are the same width front to back but that's just me.

Not cheaper than those chamfered side steps.

Yeah the rock sliders look great, however as my motor is black I think they'll probably be a bit lost ie. you won't see them.
