just a quick one got mattes r reg ninty 300tdi just wondering how many splines it has is it 36 or 48 as need to get a boss i tryed to count but very tiny any help be ace

I'm in exactly the same boat as need a boss kit asap. Going to try and count mine this week! Don't know if that is the only way of knowing though?

This should help you.
Being 36 or 48 splines you'd have to massively out to get it wrong.

ive just counted mine and 48 spine much to my misses surprise as I sat on sofa next to her with my steering wheel

Just been out to fit walnut steering wheel to my classic range rover and it appears that I bought a 48 spline and the classic is 36 my mate bought a 36 black sports steering wheel for his ninty fingers crossed he might do a swap aarrggg at least I know rangie is 36 splined now
