Evening gents just noticed a leak on my steering box around the shaft out of the bottom(sorry don't know the proper name) can you get a new seal for this if so is it an easyfix or a bugger. Disco2 td5 by the way.

yes you can remove box and pull sector shaft out to change lower seal and clean shaft up ,but if its heavily pitted around seal contact surface then it might not last forever,qfw100180, if you need more info just ask, i do them quite regulary

Sector shaft ah that'll be it once again thankyou sir another job to add to the list.

ask before you remove it thoug if box isnt in the right position so rack cant fall you will have a bigger job on your hands
