Need to find a Steering Box for LHD Land Rover Discovery Series 1, from
some salvage company or someone who breaks them up for parts in the UK.

I actually only require the core inside, that is the two main moving
parts - one is rod-like and the other a thread. But I figure that buying
the whole part may be cheaper.

Any suggestions or contacts in the UK would be welcome.

Also; should I buy new, reconditioned or risk a Used part ?

Cheers

Try looking for companies who deal in London taxis.

The traditional "black cabs" from around the 1995 era use LHD discovery
steering boxes. With a different drop arm.

Though that might help
