Does any one know where I can get some 18" steel wheels for my td5 as the alloys leak air I have herd that vw fit but not shore with type would fit I don't won't to put 20" on as this would make the car wonder on the road

Alloy rims can leak, largely due to corrosion build up between the inside edge of the rim and the tyre bead. The symptoms are not dis-similar to a slow puncture, and the treatment is largely the same too; take it to a tyre fitter who will remove the tyre, clean up the rim and then replace the tyre using some "goop" specifically designed to fix rubber onto alloy rims.
Basically just another good reason to check your tyre pressures weekly.
