My son is replacing his Freestyle wheels with some fake Wolf wheels so he needs some wheel nuts for steel wheels.
I suggested Britpart blue bag nuts but he is under the impression they will not be up to scratch so what other options are out there?
Wheel nut is a wheel nut right? Apparently not.
1989 Ninety if it makes any difference.

A steel wheel nut is a steel wheel nut (IMHO) ...

Studs, well then, they come in different lengths and I have the standard versions on my Wolf wheels which are 'almost' long enough to fill the nut, about 1/2 a thread short. There are those that say I need the long versions, but i've not had any issues and they satisfy my inner engineer.

Glad you said that.

I agree with the above. A wheel nut is a wheel nut. I run wolf wheels on my series and td5 and am In The same position as @miktdish with the studs half a thread short and have no problems. I have not bothered swapping to the longer wheel studs and the military didn’t either and just issued the instruction to increase the torque used!

And the recommended torque is?
