hi all
can any one tell me , on a std set off springs which ones are the front and which are the back,
i have just fitted a set and i think iv put them the wrong way around :doh:
i put the ones with the tight coils at the front, but now the back is sitting down and the front looks up

front springs arent as tall as rear springs when stood next to each other as front axle sits at angle

swap them round at least shocker nuts on front will come off easy

i will need to get another set off stands to lower both axals

dont understand you only need 2 x jack to change spring,bung a piece of wood or use bottle jack in place of spring

do i not need to lower the hole axal to get the springs out or can i do one side at a time

one corner at time jack chassis, undo shocker push up on front let that side drop drag out spring ,can be easier with bottle jack pushing axle away from chassis
