Have been trying to source a solenoid for a Bosch starter that is off my 2007 Defender 2.4 Puma engine. It seems like it is not possible to get a replacement part and the whole starter has to be changed. The solenoid is held on by 3 torx bolts that are also glued but managed to get these loose with an impact driver - it was only then that I found there is no replacement available. This seems crazy, maybe an older solenoid would be OK? The starter unit doesn't look much different from earlier ones though I've not been able to strip down the actual solenoid.
