hi to all i have a 95 3.9 v8i and when i start it up it raws i mean without putting foot on accelerator turn the key it starts first time but it revs up to 2000 rpm then comes down to just below 1000 is this normal it doesnt do it at any other time just on start up many thanks

Hi That's what it should do if everything is ok. Starting from cold 2000rpm then down to 1000 rpm after a few seconds then down to normal tick over as it warms up.
