My 2003 disco td5 used to start on the key but over the last week it can sometimes take 2 or 3 try's and I have to put the foot to the board to get it to fire up
I thought it was due to the cold weather but it now plays up in the afternoon when going home for lunch
Any advise or help appreciated

1. first thing replace the air bleed valve in the rear outer connection of the fuel filter housing, if you didnt do it recently put new fuel and air filters ...and DONT TOUCH the throttle while cranking cos you'll flood it...it must start without that as long as it didnt run out of fuel... instead of pushing the throttle purge it before you crank(5 consecutive throttles then wait till the MIL stops flashing)

2. check for oil in the ECU red plug...if there is any replace the injector loom

3. if no joy with 1 and 2 replace injector nwashers and seals
