When engine is turned over..srs light comes on but dosnt go off.
Is this a common problem?
Is it serious?Is it gonna cost me a kidney to fix?..lol

ps.. visiting mechanic today..gonna ask him..but what the hell..you lot on here know 100% more than they do.

Check yellow wire for loose connector under seats for seat belt activation/pre-tensioner. Common prob on Rover75's
Failing that check connector for airbag unit. You have to take centre part of steering wheel off to check this.

Lastly, could be a genuine fault with srs system but more than likely just needs a diagnostic reset.

there is a thread on here already somewhere. do a search.If you have to take steering wheel orf, take great care - its easily broken!!!!!!
