Hello, srs ecu on my freelander td4 light stays on all the time was checked by my local dealer but it would not let their computer read it. How do iget the light to go out

iv been told it mite be something to do with air bags or the seat belt pre tensioners . The air bags ect have got a self life so to speak after there life is up computer /ecu turns on warning light. Had same prob with my bmw took to bmw pluged in to computer witch told car some how that i had new bags fitted and bingo lights now off. i hope this is of some help.

Usually a faulty passenger seat sensor, do a search on the forum for more advice as I've never personally experienced this fault.
