The shocks on my TD4 have suddenly started to squeek. Most noticable when going over speed ramps etc but its pretty much whenever the car is moved around.

Any quick easy fix?

Are you sure its the shocks . mine was the front bush on the front wishbone.About £5 a side.

Alternativly if its loud and from the rear it could be a cracked chassis. I rubber mounted the subframe to stop this noise but welding is probabaly recommended.

yeah, try the wishbone bush first. not so much a hippo problem, every car squeeks when they go. try bouncing it to find out what side, or get a mate to while your on the deck and try to pinpoint it. but dont get your head under anything low.
