rito, i know the 300tdi is a squeaking monster, and i've already had my fair share of sqeeks from the fan belt. 'oweva for months n months its been whistle, squeak and chirp free, until now.

seems ta coinside wiv all the puddles i've HAD TO ;) drive through in the past week wiv the rain ****in it down.

its only sqeakin under acceleration, sounds a bit like a sqeak crossed with one of them things ya used to stick in ur bike spokes ta make it sound like a motabike!!!

any ideas?thought it may have dissapeared once everythin' dried out...not the fookin case!!!

engine/gearbox mount, A frame ball joint suspension bush?????
The list could be endless, its a landy after all
 
yeah I know the list is a long one but wandered if cos its only under acceleration it may reduce the list a lil?!
 
rafa it could be a lot of things put your head under the bonnet give it a rev and try to work out a area it is coming from then we might be able to help mate
 
Does it do it while static too?
Either something caught in the dust guards on the brakes or the dust guards themselves have bent into the brake disc is my guess.

Surely it would do it all the time when movin not just under accelaration
 
will ave a good listen tomorrow, and dont have a fookin clue wat dustguards are!!:)

rekon i'l have ta live wiv it til somethin goes BANG!!

Not always

Sometimes the stone or whatever is flicked up as the speed is increased. It may then settle back doen on overrun.

near side front ya say...cud be....:eek: :eek:

turbo on way out...sounds expensive....:eek: :eek:

if say, it is the turbo, on its way out, is that somethin that i'd need ta get sorted straight away or can i live without for a while (and not do any further damage!!):eek: :eek:
