Got myself a bargain set of spotlights/driving lights today, and i want to know any opinions on fitting.

When i was a mere boy the ones i fitted were scotch locked onto the high beam wires, with a seperate earth. never really had any problems, but that seems to be a big no no now.

I only want them to work on high beam or when i flash my lights, so can i just do as above or do i really need to fit relays etc etc?????

you can do as abovve but put a relay in the positive side so that the wire isn't overloaded.

So run a wire from the main into a relay, then out of relay to my spotlights???

Erm.........actually ignore the above, as there wouldnt be anywhere else to run the relay in sequence would there.......erm...i need a lie down.
