Excitement in the office today, my new Series 1 fuel sender arrived.

I think it must have shrunk in transit !

Can you do a side by side picture of the old and new one? It looks to be more for one of those miniature land rovers than a real one

Infortunatly my existing sender is still in the original tank, one of thereasons for changing for a new tank and sender is that the existing tank is half the height of the new one (25-30l at best) and the float arm had been shortened !!

Also the brass float is holed so it doesn't

Anyway, I knew the lord put wire coat hangers on the earth for a good reason (other than impromptu radio aerials )

So a quick hunt through the wifes wardrobe supplied a siutable substitute.

Hopefully I will get some quality time with the 80 this weekend and start some of the upgrade jobs.
