you will all of seen the weather forcast today, floods everywhere up here, all roads standing in water,
went through a flood today 75 yrds long around 9" deepest part, when i got to the otherside, car spluttered for about 50yrds, nothing bad, got to another flood, went through it ,car did same again, you would of thought it was a petrol! anybody any ideas???
 
Some water going in the air intake? Electrics getting wet?

How did you drive through?
 
it's just standard in the fittings, will have a look tomorrow, besides i would have to swim to it at the mo,
it just won't stop raining,
 
Had a look today, took air box lid off, couldn't beleive the state of the air filter, dirty, don't use the car that much, done about 3k since last service! black and dusty! took it out, in the molded sections in the bottom, there was a bit of water, cleaned it all out,
looked at ECU, all dry, spreayed WD around all the electrical contacts, all seamed ok!
plugged Hawkeye in to read Faults, 1 0nly said summat to do with Air??? ive forgot!! lol
anyhow put it all back together, test drove all seemed ok! but i didn't go through any puddles
new injector harness, service kit and Doughnut ordered,
 
Lucky there, I reckon. A snorkel might be a good idea, in your neck of the woods! :)
